WorldLegacy Leadership Team Brings Extreme Makeover to Bolder Options Youth Mentor Program Facility in Minneapolis, MN

WorldLegacy’s NC165 Leadership Team will complete an extreme makeover of the recreation room at Bolder Options in Minneapolis, Minnesota during the weekend of September 16 – 17, 2017 by renovating and painting an existing space and adding new, state-of-the-art computers, a television, couches, tables, area rugs, furniture and toys.  The work will be done in excellence and will serve as a lasting gift to enable Bolder Options to open up infinite possibilities for the at-risk youth they mentor. This WorldLegacy Leadership Team is committed to having these children know they are respected and honored, and that the impossible becomes possible by risking and taking a leadership role in the world.

This extreme makeover project is the culmination of WorldLegacy’s three-month leadership development program.  What makes this project unique is that the WorldLegacy Leadership team of nine individuals completely designs the project from start to finish, cannot use any of their own money, involves the community to do 75% of the work, and must complete it all in three days or less.

The WorldLegacy NC165 Leadership Team asks for your partnership to make this project possible. Please come and participate with us in all aspects of the work. The adventure will begin on Friday, September 15 at noon and 8:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.  All renovations will be completed by Sunday afternoon and will culminate with a ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17.  The ceremony will celebrate and honor all donors, volunteers and leaders who gave of their time, talents and resources to make the project a success.  WorldLegacy invites the entire Minneapolis community and all those who work and volunteer for this incredible organization to come join us.
